A Love Story (in 55 Words)

She met him at a party and they couldn't take their eyes off each other. Lust turned to love and they discovered they were soulmates. Then her parents found her a "suitable" boy working in the US and his parents married him to a "homely" girl who didn't party. And they lived happily ever after.

Fair story. Predicting your future by any chance? ;)

Writing a short story itself is tough...and writing it in 55 words...seems really daunting...anyways will try it.

@vmax - This should be taken to be just what it is - a story. Cha, this is why I've stopped writing stories! :-)

@.5 - ... And they rediscovered their passion. So they started having an affair and all lived happily ever after! :-)

@rohan - Yeah I guess this is how most ppl want their stories to end too I guess.

@sandeep - Hmmm siding up with H??? :-)

@sidewinder - Hey that's an interesting thought. :-) If I ever produced a movie it would be something complicated like this. :-)

@totti - Thanks! :-)

Nice story... What is the tag? Writing a love story in 55 words, or writing a story in 55 words? Exact 55? +/- N?

janani said...

@? - The tag is to write a story in 55 words or less. Any story will do, but I like love stories! :-)

I noticed this tag just now. I'm not gud @ writing stories....especially when it is under the public eye. anyway will give it a try.

Jinguchakka said...

hi ya! lol. on the net after a long time and so the enthu hi. I love this tag for a change. Story!! Hmmm... Give me some time na. I'll honour your tag. Your story is good. I actually checked out for redundant words. Couldn't find one. Good one. Am reminded of Archer's twist in the tale story collection.

janani said...

@kaps - Please do give it a try. It is not as difficult as it seems.

@jinguchakka - Heyy! :-) Gud to see you again. :-) Aaaaah you are comparing this story to Archer's? Now I am happpeeee! :-)
Put up your tag soon! :-)

While Keith was browsing the blogs he came across the Sarah's blog. Their interest's matched and their thoughts readily touched. After learning their values, they fell in love. Got married a day after, they lived happily ever after.

Nice story on your blog ...

@sundeep - Hey that's a nice story. Once the tinsel world catches up with the blog phenomenon, I am sure this will become a movie! :-)
